2011 SEASON!

The new season is upon us and there is a big buzz around Kenilworth Elementary. About 100 permission slips were given out and are all due before February 1st which is the date for the first tryout. There will be three different tryouts: 2/1, 2/3, and 2/4 all after school from 3-4:30pm. There will be no buses available students so transportation will have to be arranged for them. Students do not have to go to all 3 tryouts but they have to go to at least one of them.

Physicals will have to be done with a family doctor or any physician. A copy of the results will have to be turned in to either Mario or Aaron. Physicals will not be needed to tryout or practice but they need to be in before the first game or the student will not be allowed to play.

This year is already turning out to be bigger than the last one and we as staff are all excited to get the ball rolling! If there are any questions do not hesitate to contact Mario at mario.murillo@asu.edu. Thank you.

UPDATE: Banquet Night

Attention Parents:
Unfortunately, the banquet set for Monday May 17th will have to be postponed a week due to trophies not being ready yet. It would not be a proper banquet without trophies for kids to take home. Again we apologize for it being short notice but trophies will be ready for next Monday May 24th. All of these miscues of league management will be taken into account for the following season so we do not have this happen again. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.

BANQUET NIGHT

is set for Monday May 17th at 6:45pm. Food will be provided and hopefully a TV as well to watch the Suns game! Hope everyone can make it!

Phoenix def. Hurricanes 28-19

The Phoenix coached by Aaron Pacheco and led by the arm and defense of Steven Adams defeated the Hurricanes in a slug out of a football game. Phoenix finished the season undefeated and was crowned KFL Champs of 2010. Hurricanes captured the runner-up crown.
